Cohort 7 ● Improving the Quality of Teaching and Learning

Cohort 7

The seventh cohort of MTEI began its work in June 2015 with 40+ Jewish educational leaders from across the country representing the full spectrum of Jewish life. Approximately half the program participants are leaders of congregational and after school programs, a quarter are day school educators, with the remainder coming from communal and national agencies. All are working to improve the quality of teaching and learning in their institutions by creating robust professional development learning opportunities for their faculties.

MTEI offers these senior educational leaders not only a serious professional learning experience, but also access to an exclusive and active graduate network.

Since its inception in 1995, more than 250 educational leaders have experienced MTEI’s challenging approach to rethinking the quality of Jewish education. Graduates claim that the 2-year program and the ongoing graduate network learning opportunities strengthens their abilities to do their current jobs as educational leaders and builds their capacity for future work in the Jewish educational community.

Recruitment for Cohort 8 of this program will begin in 2016.
